Foxface Rabbitfish Large
The Foxface Lo, also referred to as the Foxface Rabbitfish, boasts a distinct body color with a mottled yellow-brown body and a dark chest. Its face is light-colored and speckled on the lower half. These hardy fish make excellent additions to newly-established tanks and can reside in aquariums of 125 gallons or more. They are generally peaceful, except when housed with other rabbitfish, and can coexist with more aggressive fish. Predators tend to avoid them due to their venomous dorsal spines. However, if not well-fed, rabbitfish may nip at and consume certain LPS and soft corals. The Foxface Lo feeds on a variety of fresh vegetables and undesirable algae species. It has been observed to nip and potentially consume some soft and hard coral polyps.
