Golden Trevally Pilotfish

The Golden Trevally, also called the Golden Jack or Pilotfish, is a fish species that is more popular among fishermen than aquarium enthusiasts. These fish have the ability to grow quite large and are active swimmers. To ensure their well-being, they require an open tank with plenty of space for swimming. Golden Trevallys are known to consume meaty foods, such as invertebrates, but they generally do not harm corals or fish that are too large to be swallowed.
