Lemon Peel Angel Medium
With its bright yellow color and sky-blue accents on its lips, eyes, and fins, the Lemonpeel Angelfish is a delightful addition to any aquarium. To distinguish it from the False Lemonpeel Angelfish, which lacks the blue highlights, it is sometimes called the True Lemonpeel Angelfish. To thrive, the Lemonpeel Angelfish needs an aquarium of at least 70 gallons with plenty of hiding spots and live rock for grazing on microalgae. However, it has a tendency to nip at large-polyped stony corals and clam mantles, so caution should be taken when selecting tankmates. It is not recommended to keep this angelfish with other fish of the same genus. The Lemonpeel Angelfish requires a diet rich in algae and seaweed, more so than most other angelfish species. Its diet should consist of Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other meaty foods.
