The Assorted Frogfish are a type of fish that can have a range of colors, from tan, yellow, red, to grey, to brown. Their body can also change colors to blend in with their surroundings over time. These fish require a lot of live rock in a medium to large sized aquarium. When introducing them to the aquarium, live saltwater feeder shrimp can be used to encourage them to eat. It’s important to note that these fish may eat any small inhabitants of the tank, such as crustaceans or fish, that are attracted to their esca, which is a modified first dorsal spine that looks like a small, tasty fish. The Assorted Anglers will accept most meaty meals, including feeder fish and shrimp.
