Rock Flower Anemone Green

The Rock Flower Anemone, which is also known as the Rock Anemone, belongs to the Phymanthidae family and is native to the Caribbean. These anemones come in various colors, with the oral disc often having a different color than the rest of the body. The oral disc does not have any tentacles, while the tentacles themselves often have a beaded appearance. These anemones can either live alone or in groups and prefer to inhabit shaded, vertical rock walls or substrates. They tend to bury most of their body in the sand, exposing only the oral disc and tentacles. They are quite resilient and can adapt to different lighting conditions, making them an ideal addition to a reef aquarium. As carnivores, the Flower Anemone requires meaty foods to survive. It’s recommended to feed them mussels, freshly chopped fish meat, and high-quality frozen foods. Providing iodine and trace elements in the aquarium will also help these anemones thrive.
